An aspiring marketing & event planner based in the Ottawa region.  I focus on experiental marketing and decor design and strive to use my strong work ethic, teamwork capabilities, and artistic ability to create unique, inspiring social events for the benefit of the client, company and community. 

About me

I received my Honours BA with distinction from University of Toronto with a major in Theatre and minor in East Asian Studies and English. I went on to receive my certificate in Event Management at Humber College, as well as the event management award for my year! It was quite the honour.

My desire to hear people’s stories and to build connections led me to study theatre, and then led me to a post-grad certificate in Event management. I believe that event tell people’s stories and bring the community together, and my goal is to help tell those stories!

I love the visual arts and food culture. In my spare time you'll find me perusing letterpress cards,checking out a new art show or restaurant in downtown Toronto, or crafting with my friends! Some of my favorite sources of inspiration are The Paper Place, Kid Icarus & Food Dudes Catering.

efficiently. No matter what an event might throw my way, I will create a solution using any resources that may be at my disposal. From catering a 150 person wedding with a team of 5, to decorating a massive warehouse with a $40 budget,

  • Creating programming & decor for the event. Constructing contracts for entertainers & instructors.

  • Creating & managing marketing strategy.  Creating & scheduling social media content for event. Establishing public relations.

  • Creation of promotional materials for event that ensure accuracy of event.

  • Assisting with sponsorship packages & sponsorship/community outreach.

  • Main liaison for MS Society of Canada, which event will fundraise for.

  • In charge of visual merchandising for the store. Acting as gatekeeper to the owner, and working with local suppliers to decide store stock.

  • Designing and constructing seasonal window displays and store signage to promote products and promotions.

  • Coordinating special events, March Break camps, and workshop, and leading a small team in order to execute these events.

  • Working with owner to design booth for various trade shows.

  • Establishing and maintaining exceptional customer service and public relations.

  • Manage social media content & campaigns including twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. Writing & publishing blog posts.

  • Participate as a member of the Provincial Culture Days Taskforce throughout planning process through online portal and webinar meetings.

  •  Schedules monthly stakeholder meetings and sets agendas with co-producers.

  •  Responsible for programming activities for Humber College and Long Branch hubs.

  •  Assist Lakeshore Arts with programming logistics for Mimico Square.
